MY STORY

Christian Machado, better known as DJ Machado, was born and raised in Hyattsville, Maryland, a predominately Salvadoran populated city. Growing up in a very ethnically diverse DMV (Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia) metropolitan area, Machado was exposed to many different cultures and allowed him to discover his passion for music at an early age.

DJ Machado began to grow interest in becoming a disc jockey since the age of 14. He would dedicate most of his time after school to practice and master the art of DJing. Two years later, Machado landed his first gig at a teen bash and was completely amazed at how he can control the crowd with the music he mixed. That is when he decided to take what was once a hobby and turn it into a career

At the age of 18, Machado was introduced to Migo Productions, an established Latino promotion company, who gave him an opportunity to spin at a local club in Washington D.C. After demonstrating his talent that night, DJ Machado began doing weekly club events and concerts with Migo Productions throughout the DMV. Soon after, the name DJ Machado was getting recognized in the city for his distinct style of mixing Latin, hip-hop, and mainstream music.

DJ Machado has had the opportunity to perform at most of the major venues in the DMV and has also taken his talent nationwide to popular clubs in Los Angeles, Houston, Miami, Orlando, North and South Carolina. He has also had the privilege to open for multiple distinguished Latino artists such as Ozuna, Zion y Lennox, J Quiles, Plan B, Yandel, Arcangel, Messiah, Lirico En La Casa, El Mayor, and most recently Bad Bunny's El Ultimo Tour Del Mundo at Capital One Arena. Today, DJ Machado is highly sought after in the DMV for private events and also nightlife events. He continues to fine-tune his style of mixing music and entertaining large crowds and hopes to continue gaining recognition not only nationwide but also internationally.
